Sylvia S. Hodge, alto

Sylvia is a graduate of the University of North Carolina (B.A in Mathematics Education), and the University of South Carolina (M.Ed. in Educational Administration, and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction). A lifelong musician, Sylvia studied voice with Ivah Dickson and has participated in community choruses and ensembles, singing solos in school, at church, and for numerous weddings since she was young. She is an active member of the First Baptist Greenville Sanctuary Choir. A native of Greer, Dr. Hodge taught mathematics in the upstate and midlands of South Carolina for over thirty years and is currently an Instructional Coach at Riverside High School. Sylvia is new to the Chorale and the Herring Ensemble this season.
